Over the last couple of years, Patient Destiny has been involved in a number of different types of events in order to bring more and more awareness to the need for patient engagement in healthcare management.
The next event that we are planning is entitled "An Evening with Patients". We plan on hosting an event where patients (of all types - chronic disease, short term illness and even the healthy who are trying to get healthier) can have a chance to hear more about our movement and how we are trying to improve health outcomes by involving patients in the management of their own care and the system.
Please return to this site where we will publish more over the next few weeks - identifying venue, guest speakers and agenda.
It is hoped that one outcome of "Our Evening" will be to create a Board of Patient Advisors who want to be involved in shaping our common voice.
this sounds like a great idea. the emr systems are really going to help pave the way for our futures.

I think its great that you are getting more traction.
We have seen doctors making moves towards subsidized EHR programs like Practice Fusion which has a secure Patient Portal for patients that want to get their own digital records.
Doctors that want to check into this can go to www.edmhcs.com/PracticeFusion
